From June 16th to June 19th 2024

Day 1

• We flew in from Rome to Tallinn and checked in at the Schlosse Hotel in Old Town. 

• Picked up postcards to mail to everyone 

• Russian embassy has a number of protest materials out in front of it 

• Walked around old town

• Sat for dinner at amazing place. Tried everything: mushroom soup, spinach orzo, cheese cake, 

• Cocktails at whisper sister , speakeasy rsque 

• 9:45 walked home, bright outside 

• Father’s Day, called everyone back home 

Day 2

• Ramen at a local place 

• Walked through flower market in main area 

• Walked up to Russian church - Alexander , more impressive from the exterior 

• Rained but ran to dinner

• Italian place for dinner - contravento 

• Cocktails at Sigmund Freud 

• More cocktails at Irish pub, watched soccer match: France vs ? 

Day 3

• Laundry lady made me load my own laundry 

• Burgers & chicken sandwich at burger shop Grill ja Pruul

• Walked to nautical museum , beautiful walk through town, saw a submarine 

• Walked to Russian amphitheater that was used in 1980s Olympics , graffiti everywhere , students making art paintings class on top 

• Dinner at Lee

Day 4

• Flew to Iceland through Helsinki on Finnish Air
